Technical Project Manager
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Technical Project Manager to lead and execute multidisciplinary engineering projects. You will play a critical role in managing new builds, retrofits, and overhaul projects that incorporate multiple technologies and systems. Working closely with the primary project lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of your assigned project elements, following the Evac Order-Delivery Process across all phases.
Key Responsibilities

Project Management:
- Manage projects from sales handover to the warranty phase.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by meeting all contractual commitments.
- Oversee project budget, cash flow, schedule, and scope.

Site Management & Regional Support:
- Provide site management and local support for projects in your region or time zone, including those led by other project managers.

Engineering Leadership:
- Own and manage the engineering scope of projects, ensuring adherence to technical requirements.

Team Leadership:
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, both internal and external.
- Develop, plan, and monitor project execution while implementing change management and risk mitigation strategies.

Communication:
- Handle internal and external project communications, acting as the main point of contact for customers.
- Represent Evac in customer interactions.

Sales Support:
- Provide technical and commercial input, historical project data, and customer insights to support the sales team.
Required Competencies

Project Management Expertise:
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects, including process, mechanical, and automation design.

Technical Proficiency:
- Engineering background with the ability to understand and work with Evac products and technologies.

Contract & Finance Management:
- Experience handling project contracts and managing financial aspects.

Leadership Skills:
- Proven ability to lead matrix and virtual teams across internal and external functions.

Strong Communication Skills:
- Effective communicator with the ability to represent Evac and act as the primary customer contact.

Languages:
- Fluent in English; additional proficiency in Finnish, German, or Chinese is an advantage.

Education:
- MSc or BSc in Technology or a related field.

Travel:
- Willingness to travel up to 120 days a year, depending on project mix.
