The purpose of the Supply Planner role at Evac is to ensure efficient inventory and material management processes, ensuring material availability meets set targets. The Supply Planner operates and continuously improves related processes and tools, including the inventory optimization tool, and is a key contributor to the operational Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role also involves coordinating and monitoring warehouse capacity planning to ensure high performance standards.
We are looking for a person with development mindset and capability to drive the supply planning process while finding improvement actions and actively turn those findings to tangible actions as well as taking them through the organization with various stakeholders. While having development mindset, you should not be afraid of daily routines as this role is a combination of process development and daily routines around supply planning and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Planning: Lead Supply Planning activities, facilitating the supply planning process, and creating supply plans.
- Process Development: Operate and develop supply planning processes and related tools to enhance efficiency.
- Inventory Control: Manage the inventory planning process, including control strategy maintenance, coordination of excess & obsolete stock, and serving as the super user of the inventory management tool.
- Warehouse Coordination: Oversee warehouse operations by monitoring volumes, resolving operative issues in collaboration with warehouse coordinators, and handling process and data flow issues.
- Spare Parts Management: Monitor spare parts availability and coordinate required actions to ensure sufficient supply.
- Inventory Policy Contribution: Assist in developing and updating inventory policies and guidelines.
- Additional Duties: Perform other tasks as assigned by the line manager.
Required Competencies and Skills
- Supply Chain Knowledge: Good understanding of supply chain processes and best practices.
- Analytical and Data Management Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage complex data, make data-driven decisions, and perform advanced calculations.
- Process Development: Proven ability to independently improve and streamline processes.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a relevant role, preferably within supply chain, supply planning or inventory management.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Excel and experienced with reporting tools, ERP, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
