Are you an experienced accounts receivable professional looking to take your career to the next level? Evac is seeking a talented AR Specialist for North America to join our dynamic team. This role is essential to maintaining the financial health of our company by managing the accounts receivable ledger and overseeing the collection process for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Payment Processing & Reconciliation: Accurately process incoming payments and ensure they are correctly reconciled with invoices.
• Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor aging accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely payments.
• Debt Collection: Efficiently manage the collection of overdue debts, ensuring customers comply with Evac’s terms and conditions.
• Dispute Resolution: Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes to maintain smooth financial operations.
• Customer Data Maintenance: Keep customer information up to date and maintain accurate records of accounts receivable transactions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports, and generate and distribute monthly client statements.
• Collaboration & Customer Service: Provide exceptional support to both internal and external stakeholders, working closely with the finance and sales teams in the US and Finland, as well as the Global Credit Controller in Finland.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with the finance team to streamline processes and enhance overall efficiency.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar financial role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a multinational or multicultural environment.
• Knowledge of US GAAP accounting regulations and tax laws.

You will report to the Financial Controller, Evac North America, and collaborate closely with teams in the US, Finland, and the Global Credit Controller in Finland.
