We are looking for a skilled Product Engineer to join our Product Engineering team, which holds technical responsibility across our product lines, with a particular focus on Evac’s innovative HydroTreat system—a groundbreaking hydrothermal carbonization (HTC) solution for transforming waste into valuable biochar.

Reporting to the Manager of Product Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in advancing Evac’s business through product development and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Development: Participate in product development projects, ensuring meticulous documentation and technical handling.
• Technical Ownership: Assume technical responsibility for wet waste treatment products, supporting product improvements and updates to meet evolving standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing enhancements of standard systems to optimize efficiency and performance.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with internal and external partners—including lead product engineers, product line managers, sales, project delivery teams, and sourcing—to deliver cost-competitive, high-quality products on time.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

• Educational Background: M.Sc. or B.Sc. in process, mechanical, or chemical engineering with several years of relevant experience.
• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of process equipment such as pumps, valves, piping, heat exchangers, and pressure vessels.
• System-Level Thinking: Ability to see and optimize the product system as a cohesive whole.
• Experience: Proven background in product development, product management, and/or project engineering.
• Tools: Basic understanding of PDM/PLM tools.
• Language Proficiency: Full proficiency in English.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel occasionally to suppliers and onboard vessels.
• Personal Attributes: Proactive, well-organized, and a collaborative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Preferred Experience: Knowledge in wet waste treatment and/or hydrothermal treatment systems is a plus.
