Key Responsibilities

As an AP Accounting Trainee, you’ll play a key role in supporting the accounts payable team with essential daily tasks, including:

• Invoice Processing: Manage invoices efficiently using Medius.
• Communication: Handle internal and external email correspondence, answering inquiries as needed.
• Supplier Management: Assist with supplier creation and bank account updates.
• Mail Handling: Process incoming paper mail related to accounts payable.
• Reconciliation: Support accounts payable reconciliation efforts.
• Travel Expenses: Handle travel expense claims.
• Accrual Preparation: Gather information for AP-related accrual calculations (final calculations and bookings will be handled by senior staff).

Keys to Success

• Education: Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Skills: Attention to detail, organizational abilities, and effective communication.
• Software Knowledge: Familiarity with financial tools (e.g., Medius) is a plus but not mandatory.
• Mindset: Positive, proactive, and eager to learn.
