We are seeking a Spares Leader to join our team and take charge of driving the performance of the Spares division. This role is crucial to achieving our sales and profit targets by ensuring the efficient management of the team, handling customer enquiries, and creating accurate quotations for spare parts. The position reports to the Head of Regional Sales.

Responsibilities

As the Spares Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the growth and profitability of our business. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Team Management: Lead and manage the Spares team to ensure optimal performance, efficient labor allocation, and alignment with company goals.
• Quotations and Customer Support: Produce timely and accurate quotations for spare parts and services, and handle customer enquiries to ensure satisfaction.
• Market Growth: Analyze market trends and customer buying patterns to identify opportunities for sales growth and increase profitability.
• Local and Direct Sales: Work closely with local representatives (Agents/Distributors) where present, or engage in direct customer contact in regions without local networks.
• Strategy and Process Improvement: Contribute to the creation and implementation of strategies to improve team efficiency, remove obstacles, and capitalize on opportunities.
• Reporting: Generate and submit performance reports to senior management, tracking key metrics and results.

• Team Leadership Experience: 3+ years of management experience within a global business environment, with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Sales Focus: A proactive mindset for identifying new business opportunities and driving sales.
• Customer Service Excellence: Strong customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction and relationship-building.
• Process Improvement: Experience in implementing process improvements to enhance team performance.
• KPI Management: Ability to set, track, and manage KPIs to ensure team success.
• Commercial Awareness: Strong understanding of pricing, quotations, and sales strategies.
• Remote Work Management: Ability to monitor and enforce high performance standards in a remote working environment.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Experience in the Maritime industry or a replacement parts/after-sales environment.
• Familiarity with SAP Business One and Jira platforms.
• Business Management qualifications are an advantage.
