Technician

Key responsibilities
Assembly of Equipment and systems:
- Inventory the parts to be assembled
- Mount/assemble/test in accordance with the operating procedures and instructions given
- Control the quality
- Participate in the packaging of equipment
- Complete the technical file
Installation/maintenance/repair of equipment in the workshop and onboard the ships:
- Carry out a preliminary study
- Evaluate the needs in material and work time
- Organize/schedule work and brief other technicians as needed
- Install equipment and/or replace defective parts
- Test
- Establish a report
- Pass on the necessary information to the Service Department for the administrative processing of the file
- Inventory the parts to be wired and assembled
- Mount/assemble/test boxes according to electrical diagrams
- Keeping the workstation clean
- Participation in the realization of small works in the premises,
- Respect the safety rules
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications
- Mastery of electricity, mechanics, hydraulics
- Follow the manufacturing and installation processes
- Use of electroportable tools
- Good knowledge of English
- two years experience minimum
- Interact in customers to install the equipment
- Carry out maintenance and repair operations (troubleshooting and diagnostics)
