We're looking for a commercially minded Global Credit & Risk Controller to lead credit risk management across our global organisation. This is a high-impact role responsible for shaping credit governance, managing Group-wide exposure, and driving improvement in collections and working capital performance. Reporting to the VP Group Treasury, you'll partner closely with Finance, Sales and Shared Services to balance risk management with business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Own and develop the Group Credit Policy, governance framework and approval processes.
Monitor global credit exposure, customer risk and overdue balances, ensuring timely action is taken to reduce risk and improve cash collection.
Support commercial teams on major customer opportunities and complex credit decisions.
Lead regular credit reviews and drive accountability for overdue reduction across business lines.
Identify portfolio and concentration risks across customers, sectors and geographies.
Drive the standardisation and continuous improvement of credit control processes globally.
Oversee guarantees and trade finance policies, ensuring effective risk management and compliance.
Deliver insightful reporting and analytics on DSO, overdue debt and overall credit performance.
About You
Experienced in credit risk, credit control, treasury or working capital management within a global or multinational business.
Strong understanding of credit policy, exposure management and risk governance.
Able to influence and challenge stakeholders at all levels while building strong working relationships across functions.
Analytical, commercially aware and comfortable translating data into meaningful business decisions.
Knowledge of trade finance, guarantees and related financial risk considerations.
