Your Role

As an AP Accounting Trainee, you will support our Accounts Payable team in day-to-day financial operations. You’ll gain practical experience, learn from experienced professionals, and develop skills that are highly valued in finance roles.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Invoice processing: Handling incoming invoices efficiently using Medius

• Communication: Managing internal and external email correspondence and responding to inquiries

• Supplier management: Assisting with supplier creation and bank account updates

• Mail handling: Processing incoming paper mail related to accounts payable

• Reconciliation: Supporting AP reconciliation activities

• Travel expenses: Processing employee travel expense claims

• Accrual preparation: Collecting information for AP-related accruals (calculations and postings handled by senior team members)

What Will Help You Succeed

• Education: Ongoing studies in Finance, Accounting, or a related field

• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good organizational skills, and clear communication

• Systems: Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Medius) is an advantage, but not required

• Mindset: A positive, proactive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn
