Spare Part Specialist Trainee
Evac has been a pioneer in sustainable technologies and solutions for decades. Today we are the world’s leading provider of integrated Evac® water, waste and wastewater technologies, Cathelco® corrosion protection and marine growth prevention and HEM® freshwater systems.
Our technologies address the increasing need for innovative solutions driven by the megatrends of climate change, circularity, and increasingly scarce freshwater resources. We contribute to a better environment and cleaner seas by helping our customers eliminate waste, conserve water, mitigate emissions, and lengthen the lifecycle of their vessels or buildings. Together with our 500 colleagues in 14 countries, we strive for a future with no waste.
We are looking for a Spare Part Specialist Trainee to play a key role in providing technical support and managing spare part data within Evac. In this role, you will work closely with Service Sales, Product Management, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate, high-quality spare part information that supports both internal operations and customer needs.
This position combines data management and customer service and requires a hands-on, self-driven approach. You will take ownership of identifying and resolving data discrepancies, requesting missing information, and progressing tasks independently. Work assignments are managed through Jira, and your proactive engagement is key to success.
Your Role
As a Spare Part Specialist Trainee, you will contribute directly to improving the quality of technical support and the reliability of spare part data—both essential to Evac’s operational excellence.
Your responsibilities will include:
Technical support: Providing support related to spare parts and managing associated item data
Cross-functional collaboration: Working closely with Service Sales, Product Management, and Sourcing teams to ensure data accuracy and alignment with requirements
Process development: Assisting in the development of processes and tools that improve technical support quality
Data quality: Identifying and resolving discrepancies in technical documentation and spare part data
Stakeholder communication: Proactively contacting internal stakeholders to request missing or unclear information
Continuous improvement: Contributing to ongoing improvements in data management systems and practices
What Will Help You Succeed
Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed at least three years of technical studies (B.Sc. or M.Sc.)
Technical understanding: Familiarity with equipment used in process industries
Documentation skills: Ability to interpret datasheets, technical drawings, and related documentation
Systems: Experience with data management tools such as PDM and ERP systems
Problem-solving: Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to resolving issues
Work style: Highly organised, able to manage multiple tasks, and comfortable working with deadlines
Collaboration: A proactive, team-oriented mindset with strong communication skills
Language: Fluency in written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage
