Business Development Manager

We are expanding our reach into land-based applications including industrial processing and data centres, supporting cleaner operations through innovation and engineering excellence.
About the Role
We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our commercial growth in land-based applications for anti-fouling systems. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional from the industrial processing or petrochemical sectors with a proven track record in market development, technical sales, and customer relationship management. The successful candidate will leverage their industry contacts and strategic insight to expand our presence in industrial and data centre applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy & Strategic Market Development: Drive business growth for anti-fouling systems in industrial and data centre applications.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with industrial operators, engineering firms, and procurement teams.
- Technical Expertise: Provide consultative sales support, ensuring customer understand the technical and operational benefits of our solutions.
- Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue new business opportunities across land-based sectors.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, service, and product teams to ensure seamless project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Forecasting & Reporting: Manage pipeline, sales forecasts, and performance metrics to support strategic planning and decision-making.
- 15+ years of experience in industrial processing or petrochemical sectors, with a strong foundation in technical sales and business development.
- Proven success in growing markets and developing business within industrial applications.
- Extensive network of industry contacts across relevant sectors.
- Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Salesforce.
- A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
About You
- 15+ years of experience in industrial processing or petrochemical sectors, with a strong foundation in technical sales and business development.
