Are you a data-driven financial professional with a strong foundation in cost accounting and experience in a manufacturing environment? If so, we’re looking for a Financial Analyst with experience in a manufacturing environment to join our dynamic finance team. In this role, you’ll support cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis, collaborating closely with Production, Sales, and Operations teams. Your insights will help drive smarter business decisions and greater efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with Manufacturing, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to analyze product and project costs.
- Support OEM pricing proposals and assist in developing accurate quoting models based on cost drivers.
- Conduct variance analysis of labor, material, and overhead costs against budget and standards.
- Participate in monthly financial close activities, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and inventory adjustments.
- Lead the review and audit of BOMs and standard costs, working closely with production and operations teams.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of standard costing systems and overhead allocation methods.
- Provide financial insights to support continuous improvement, efficiency initiatives, and capital investment decisions.
- Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and dashboards to support operational and executive leadership.
- Support the Controller in implementing best practices in manufacturing accounting and internal controls.
- Analyze warranty, scrap, and rework costs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and file sales tax returns in accordance with regulations.
- Take on additional financial analysis and business support tasks as assigned.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
- 3–5 years’ experience in finance/accounting within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong cost accounting knowledge and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
