Do you thrive on challenges? Are you ready to embark on a career that takes you to new horizons? We're seeking ambitious Field Service Technicians to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you'll travel domestically and internationally, working hands-on aboard vessels to perform maintenance, repairs, and commissioning services for our cutting-edge wastewater treatment and reverse osmosis systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting hands-on mechanical and electrical work
- Providing precise and professional job reporting
- Recording and compiling data for analysis
- Offering technical support to end-customers
- Performing other general customer service tasks
Location: Hollywood, Florida, USA Based in our Hollywood office, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with Port Miami and Port Everglades for local cruise ship support, as well as service our yacht customers in West Palm Beach. Reliable personal transportation is a must for this role.
Requirements:
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Valid passport and eligibility to work for a US company
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to perform work aboard vessels while docked or underway
- Degree in engineering or equivalent experience within the marine industry
- Good electrical and mechanical skills
- Prior experience in PLCs, reverse osmosis systems, pumps, water quality instrumentation, and PVC piping is preferred but not required
- Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially MS Word and Excel
- Ability to manoeuvre ladders, lift 30 pounds overhead, and work in small confined spaces
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Customer-focused and results-oriented attitude
